About1,000citationswerebeingissuedpermonthwhenthecameraswerefirstinstalled,ordingtocityreports.Butintheyearsfollowing,policebegantoseethosenumbersdropbyabouthalf.Policeattributedthedroptomotoristsingmindfuloftrafficsafety.
